It's a comical situation as the plants rely on Citron, an orange that is from the future and has a few strengths that the zombies can't handle. When you're playing, the sound effects bring you in to the game. You can fight in larger groups against the zombies. This kills the zombies faster and in larger numbers. There are a few new modes of play in this updated game. As the zombies strike, the plants find that they are too weak, so they seek the help of others. They are trying to take back control for the people who live in the suburbs. The zombies have attacked the town, but the plants have a surprise in store for them.
